I am a UKCC Level 2 (equivalent) badminton coach. I started playing badminton at the age of 13 at adult education evening classes and was inspired by an amazing coach who showed me how much fun and personal satisfaction could be achieved playing at any level.
Instilled with a vision, I founded Penguin Badminton Club, which caters for players of all abilities in a fun and supportive environment.
Reaching out to the wider community, I taught evening classes at Sutton College for 23 years and more recently coached juniors in local schools for Premier League 4 Sport and Sport England, giving youngsters especially beginners as much opportunity as possible to get involved in the sport.
Currently I provide coaching to Juniors at Sutton and Cheam Junior Badminton Club at Nonsuch School on Sundays between 12-4pm. I also provide coaching to students at Nonsuch High School for Girls Mondays after school.
From April 2023 I started providing coached Adult club sessions, coached Junior Club sessions and Beginners/Intermediate courses at the Malden Centre in New Malden.
I can provide one to one or group badminton coaching as required. Alternatively I have a network of coaches who also offer coaching. Get in touch and I can advise on what your best options are.
